The inclusion of metal prices marks the next phase in Benchmark’s expansion of its rare earth coverage, reflecting the growing complexity and development of global rare earth markets.

“By broadening our coverage to include rare earth metals, Benchmark continues to track the evolution of the rare earth value chain from oxides to end-use materials,”

“As trade flows diversify and the interplay between Chinese and ex-China markets intensifies, these new price assessments will provide industry participants with the insight needed to manage risk, understand price relationships, and plan procurement more effectively” commented George Ingall, Price Analyst at Benchmark.

These new price grades will be made available to all Benchmark Rare Earths Price Assessment subscribers on the final working day of each month by 4pm (London), starting from 31 October 2025, with market analysis sent out to subscribers soon after.
